Your Precious One So Gravely Ill
When a precious
one is gravely ill
the world stops
turning for a while.
For we cannot live
another moment
without seeing
their smile.
Every
thought is with you now
sending you our prayers.
As Our heavenly father guards and guides
with tender love and care.
Your
heart it breaks with sadness
So I send this hug too you.
and pray to god to give you
strength to see you through.
In
Loving Memory
No
flags were flown at half mast
when my little baby died;
no limousine to carry her home
no crowds of mourners cried.
But
the world for me stopped turning,
my heart is filled with pain
my tears could fill an ocean
I want to see her again.
I
want to say I'm sorry
to feel her lick my face,
I want to hold her close to me
and always keep her safe.
I
wonder how to end this hurt,
to ease my troubled soul,
I wonder how I can go on
without her I'm not whole.
And
so I pray to God above
to take care of my child,
say thanks that she was here
if only for a while.
And
I will love another,
though she'll always be a part
of everything that's good and kind,
she will always have my heart.
I know that she is happy,
running in fields of gold,
and though I know she misses me
she'll someday me mine to hold.
So
sleep my little baby,
your spirit now is free,
sleep my little baby,
you're still a part of me.

Grief
The
wind's not always at our back
the sky's not always blue
We fill with grief when things are sad
and don't know what to do.
It's then each day becomes uphill
with mountains high to climb
The river flowing far too deep
the crossing hard to find
And when these heartaches come
to overwhelm with care
It's then we cry, Lord, take the fear
please, this heavy burden bear.
What
Will
I
wonder what it will be like
at the Pearly Gates.
Will we rush to get straight in
or will we hesitate.
Will
we stand before the throne
heads held up with
pride.
Because we did the
Lord's work
and stayed close
by his side.
Or
will we hang our head in shame
for
the sins we cast.
Will
the Lord ask why we were
so
defiant in the past?
I know that I am far
from perfect
with many faults and flaws.
But I will always try to do my best
to follow all god’s laws.
My God How Great Thou
ART!
I searched for You on
the seaside,
In the pristine, white-foam sand...
I need You, oh my Father,
To take my weak and flailing hand!
I
cannot stand alone, my Lord,
Come,
now and be with me!
I
cannot walk upon the shore.
Of
this wild and tempest sea!
I
sought You in the forest,
Where
the lush, wild fern grows;
I
looked for You on mountaintops,
Through
the bitter, driven snows.
I
went into the desert
Sun
bleached sands desolate and dry...
There
my soul was so thirsty,
I
could find no tears to cry.
My God, where are You
hiding?
Don't You hear my plea?
I need You, oh, my Father,
Come, now, and carry me!
It was there in the
silence,
His gentle voice I softly heard,
Like a mighty whisper...
Each and every word!
My child, I did not leave you.
I've been right by your side.
I've caught every tear drop
That your broken heart has cried!
I walked before you on those mountains
So you could find your way...
I was there in the lush, green forest..
I hear every word you say!
My footprints were there
beside yours
In that pristine, white beach sand...
And when I was not carrying you,
I was holding tightly to your hand!
Oh, now I see that You
were with me...
You were here within my aching heart...
Filling me up with with such longing...
My God, HOW GREAT THOU ART!
The Home Beyond
We feel so sad when those we love
Are called to live in the home above,
But why should we grieve when they say good-bye
And go to dwell in a cloudless sky?
For they have but gone to prepare the way,
And we'll meet them again some happy day,
For God has told us that nothing can sever
A life He created to live forever.
So let God's promise soften our sorrow
And give us new strength for a brighter
tomorrow.
This Is Just A Resting Place
Sometimes the road of life seems long
as we travel through the years,
And with hearts that are broken
and eyes brimful of tears.
We falter in our weariness
and sink beside the way
But God leans down and whispers,
"Child, there'll be another day."
And the road will grow much smoother
and much easier to face,
So do not be disheartened
this is just a resting place.
Miss
You So
I'm missing you my dear
one
Just as I always do,
Miss all the delightfulness
The loveliness of you.
I'm missing you, as ever
The treasure that you are,
Missing all the you I know
By the love within my heart.
I'm missing you so much
today
So this rose of peace I send,
To the one I miss so much
My dear and special friend.
