Together again

You have passed and gone,
But we are not apart.
Because although your flesh is gone
Your spirit is still in my heart.

I wish that you were here with me or
I wish that I was there with you,
But as you know from experience, all wishes don't come true.
I wish that you didn't have to leave, but I do  understand.

That you passing and leaving all of your family
and friends behind was all in Gods special plan.
I know that I will see you again, on judgement day.
You and I will hold hands and walk through Heavens gates.

People lose family everyday so for my love
and there love I will stand.
Because on that special day
God will gather his people and we will be
Together Again.

Memories

Why is it that the lord,
takes the good ones to soon
Is it just to punish the people
who wait for them to bloom.

You had such a future
why did you have to go
Did the angels call you
and tell you it must be so.

To all  people with loved ones lost
I understand your grief,
I to have lost my brother,
through accidental means.

The words that I wanted to say,
before he passed and went.
only through heaven
now be written and be sent.

Trying to find the words
that I wanted always to say
You were my big brother
you will always be that way.

Memories Build a Special Bridge

Our memories build a special bridge
when loved ones have to part
to help us feel we're with them still
and sooth a grieving heart.
Our memories span the years we shared,
preserving ties that bind,
They build a special bridge of love
and bring us peace of mind.

Brother

I sit here and think,
my brother is dead,
how can you leave me,
runs through my head,
how can I think this,
I love him so much,
he is my brother,
I need him so much,
I sit here and think,
of what people will say,
gathered round his coffin,
death took him away,
I shouldn't write this,
but I need to tell,
how my body's on earth,
but my mind is in hell.

Miss You

Whenever I felt lonely you were always there,
a person with whom everything I could share.
My inspiration, my idol, my pride, my alter ego,
the first one to cheer me up whenever I am low.

In a stranded land, stormy and cold,
it's you whose hand I could've always have hold.
You are the one who was always by my side,
the person in whom everything I could confide.

Being buddies, fighting, playing, smiling, frowning,
I miss you for each and every small thing.
Parting from you was what I dreaded the most,
away from you I felt as if you are lost.

I'll cherish the moments of growing up with you,
no words can describe how much I miss you.
Until then
my Angel watches over me!

Memories Of You

When I see your face
I remember your smile;
The way you moved,
Your courageous style.

Your laughter rings clearly,
Straight through to my heart;
It seems like only yesterday
We were made to part.

Your incredible strength,
The way you stuck by me;
You were my best friend,
It was so easy to see.

My soul cries for you,
When memories flood back;
Of the person I lost,
And reminds me of what lacks.

I have morned for years
Over your painful death;
The day you passed,
They laid my heart to rest.

I hurt for your presence,
And long for the day we reunite;
I will settle for the memories
I hold very tight.

More So

Of all the hours I’ve felt so small
Of all the times I’ve faced a fall
Of all the races I couldn’t run
Of all the things I haven’t done
Of all the places I feared to tread
Of all the moments I faced with dread
Of all the people I couldn’t reach
Of all the lessons I failed to teach
Of all the steps I didn’t take
Of all the moves I couldn’t make
Of all the actions that made me meek
Of all the things that made me weak
Of all the words I tried to say
Of all the pain that came my way
Of all the paths I didn’t pave
Of all the souls I couldn’t save
Of all the times I failed to act
Of all the hurt I can’t take back
Of all the tears that burn right through
Of all these things, the loss of you

Goodbye

I prayed for death to come to him, and take away his pain.
But death, I am so jealous, I want him back again.
I went and knelt beside his grave, but no matter how I try.
The words just would not come, I could not say goodbye.

I thought that when he passed away, I would feel relief.
But the only thing that I can feel, is emptiness and grief.
I long to see him one more time, to tell him how I feel.
If I could only talk to him, I know my heart would heal.

He tried to tell me something, before he passed away.
But I could not understand, what Jim was trying to say.
He said, take care of business, what business could that be?
But he could talk no more that day, he never answered me.

Was goodbye the business, which I refused to see?
If I would have said goodbye to him, and him goodbye to me?
Would it help the emptiness, and the pain inside my heart?
If I could have said goodbye to him, would the healing start?
For now I'll try to say goodbye, that's how it has to be.
Until the day we're reunited, back my bro and me.

The last Post

As the bugle played a haunting strain of taps
Its music speaking volumes to my soul
In reverie I heard his voice, I felt his touch,
Though now in slumber, no flesh but whole.

Behind curtained eyes his form took shape
with smiling eyes he softly said.
Come now, carry not this heavy heart
For I’m at peace, alive not dead.

He spoke of hearts that wove together
Souls en mass that shared the dawn
Known love , seen starlight, touched a flower
Saw their darling children born.

Our friends and I have merely passed on
a better place there ne’er could be.
So walk in peace and happiness
And know that earth is not all there be.

The love of mortals weep in sorrow
But tell to them of what you see.
That I am back where I was made
With my brothers in eternity.

The light before my eyes grew brighter
I saw him smile toward the west
as gentle arms enfolded round him
And took him to his heaven’s rest.

Memories

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.

We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name;
All we have now are memories,
And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we will never part;
God has you in his keep,
We have you in our heart.

It broke our heart to lose you.
But you didn't go alone,
For a part of us went with you...
The day God took you home.

Ascention

And if I go,
while you're still here. . .
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
behind a thin veil you cannot see through.

You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I'll wait for the time when we can soar together again,
both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
and when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
and I will be there.

Gently Sleeping

Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
and isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
as my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me
each and Everyday.

Maybe

Who can say for certain
maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
your memories so clear.

Birthdays In Heaven

Happy Birthday in Heaven
it’s your first one there.
I’m thinking of you today
and wish you were here.

You are remembered
every single day and night.
I feel your presence
in the star’s twinkling light.

I still can’t believe
that you are gone.
Although my life moves on
my heart is torn.

Not a day passes by
that I don’t cry.
Always wondering
why did you have to die?

So on this day I’ll think of you
just as on any other.
Happy Birthday to you,
my dear sweet brother.

Love and miss you so much,

FLY

Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again

Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this memory bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
I won't forget

Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light.
By - Celine Dion

Spaces

In my soul there is a space
that can never be filled.
But in my heart there is hope
because you are with me still.

In my heart, you will live on.
Always there, never gone
my precious child, you left too soon.
And though we may be apart
you’ll live forever...in my heart.

Only the Best

A heart of gold stopped beating,
two shining eyes at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.

God knows you had to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day He took you home.

To some you are forgotten,
to others just part of the past,
but to us who loved and lost you,
the memory will always last.

God hath Not Promised

God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

God Took You Home to Heaven

God took you home to Heaven.
I begged you not to leave.
He has a place set aside for you,
And I am left to grieve.
I miss your gentle smile,
Your laugh and never-ending love.
Please watch over me down here
From your new home up above.
My life has changed forever.
There is a hole now in my heart.
I will wait until I am called,
Then we will never part.

Hold a Place in My Heart

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
No one could ever fill.

My Brother My Friend

He walks in splendid harmony
amongst the trees and flowers.
There is no place he’d rather be
to gather inner power.

His soul is free to soar about

with eagles in the sky.
He searches for the answer,
and he finds the reason why.

The wind directs his focus,
as he travels through the day.
His values firmly planted,
for he surely knows his way.

With fortitude and stamina
he stands for fair and true.
Inside his glowing aura,
is the man he never knew.

Integrity and honesty
are in his every thought.
For kindness and tranquility
is all that he was taught.

He shares his praise and wisdom,
building towers on a frame.
No judgment passed on any man.
no need for painful blame.

Enabling the poorest man,
who sleeps out on the street.
He finds a way to understand
his reason for defeat.

Treading lightly on the path,
he strives to find the meaning.
He goes within his inner self,
to places he has been.

He took me to his special place,
And gave me a bouquet.
The peaceful look upon his face,
just took my breath away.

The rose was for compassion,
and the tulip harmony.
The buttercup and daisy,
purest thought and honesty.

The sunflower in the center
was difficult to find.
It was buried in the flowers,
and was of a different kind.

He showed me how to reach it
and he offered it to me.
The gift that he was giving,
was of serenity.

Forever in our Hearts

A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried,
If love alone would have saved you,
You would of never died.

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still,
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one can ever fill.

A light from our household is gone,
A voice from our love is stilled,
A place in our vacant home,
Which never can be filled.

Some may think you are forgotten,
Though on earth you are no more,
But in our memory you are with us,
As you always were before.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

Your precious memories are for keepsakes,
with which we never part,
God has you safely in his keeping,
But we have you forever in our hearts.

Remember Me This Way

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.

Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.

Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.

Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay.

And come in the shade of evening
when the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
and remember only my best.

Wonderful Brother

We think of you in silence
We always speak your name
We have so many memories
And your picture in a frame.
We do not need a special day
to bring you to our minds
Since days we do not think of you
are impossible to find
We think of you when we play
but that is nothing new
We think of you with love today
We are always with you.
You are now our guardian angel
watching  from your place of rest
Heaven must be a beautiful place
For God only takes the best.
God please look after him
Don’t let him walk alone
After all, this is his first time
away from home.
Until we meet again
