I thought I saw forever,
But forever fell apart.
I never knew this day would come,
Not in a million years.
That I would be here without you,
wiping away my tears.

Once upon a time
Not so very long ago.
I had you close beside me.
And now you’ve gone
below.
I knew your time had
arrived
The end of your life’s
road.
You left to be with god that day
to lightened up your
load.
Your life on earth
was short in years,
Too young to die, so many tears.
Heartaches too much for us to bear,
signs of you left everywhere.
Along with your life,
you took our hearts
And shook our very core.
Leaving us with a heartache,
to grieve forevermore.
There Is A Reason
There Is a Reason
For every pain, that we bear,
for every burden, every care.
There is a reason.....
For every grief, that bows the head,
For every tear-drop that is shed.
There is a reason......
For every hurt that is felt
For every lonely, pain filled night.
There is a reason.
But if we trust God
As we should,
It all will work out for our good.
He knows the reason.
In Loving Memory
God saw you in too
much pain.
You suffered so much though didn’t complain.
You always said,
"Do not worry about me I’ll be okay".
How I cried and felt so alone the day you left us.
You always said,
"God was our father and some day he would call to take us home".
I didn’t understand at first why he took you.
I was not to question the work of god.
I finally realized he loved you so much and
he said you were not to suffer any longer.
He took you home and made you an angel.
I will always love you.
Never Broken
There should be no
despair for you
while nightly stars are burning;
While evening pours its silent dew,
And sunshine gilds the morning.
There should be no despair,
though tears may flow, down like a river.
Are these not the best beloved of years
around your heart forever?
They weep, you weep,
it must be so,
winds sigh as you are sighing.
And winter sheds its grief in snow
where Autumn’s leaves are lying.
Yet, these revive, and from their fate
your fate cannot be parted.
Then, journey on, if not elate,
still, never broken hearted!.
A Rose Behind The Wall
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of
light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide ~
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted the rose blooms there
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God’s own loving care.
Courage Of A Little
Lad
It was so very sad, with
a tear in every eye,
To see this little lad having to say goodbye,
to his Beloved Daddy.
It broke my heart, made
me so sad
His only child, this
little lad
Was there to send his
Daddy, off to heaven.
This lad had courage way
beyond
What he should, of
one so young.
Was this lads trust
that made me see
That he knew much more
than you and me.
For I believe that
what he knew,
That on the day, his
life is through
His Daddy will be
there to take him home.
He never really left
I do promise he hears
you when you speak
I will say he loves you no matter the distance
I will not deny he is in a better place
And, I will not lie; he is waiting to greet you someday
He is with you every
you step you take
He is in everything you do
He is the air you breathe
He is every beat of your heart
He's like the
wind. You cannot see him…
But you will always feel him beside you...
There is nothing I
can do,
to bring him back
There are no words I can say,
that can replace he words you long to hear.
There are no answer’s
I can give,
that will satisfy your questions.
There is not another soul I can introduce you to
that will ever replace his.
And, there is no love I can offer
that will ever replace the love you shared.
I can't promise
your broken heart will ever be complete.
I will not say it could have been worse.
I will not deny it was a tragedy.
I will not lie and tell you he will come back.
