Angels Footsteps

Angels called your name so gently,

That only you could hear.

No one heard the footsteps,

of angels drawing near.

Softly from the shadows

There came a gentle call,

You closed your eyes,

went to sleep, and quietly left us all.

A silent wish that you were here

Others have lost like this we know

A Man Of Grief

It must be very difficult

to be a man in grief,

Since “men don’t cry”,

and “men are strong”

No tears can bring relief.

It must be very difficult

to stand up to the test,

And field the calls and visitors

so she can get some rest.

They always ask if she’s all right,

and what she’s going through.

But seldom take his hand and ask,

“My friend, but how are you?”

He hears her crying in the night,

and thinks his heart will break.

He dries her tears and comforts her,

but “stays strong” just for her sake.

It must be very difficult,

to start each day anew.

and try to be so very brave-,

He lost his baby too.

Away From The Pain

Our loved ones wander far from earth,

from all pain and despair.

To walk towards its open arms,

and find that peace waits there.

Along that final journey,

to their heavenly tomorrow.

They leave us precious footprints,

that we shall some day follow.

A Better Place

My time has come, and so I’m gone.

To a better place, far beyond.

I love you all as you as you can see.

But it’s better now, because I’m free.

We do not need a special day

to bring you to our mind.

The days we do not think of you,

Are very hard to find.

The heavenly gate is sparkling,

clearly visible in the skies.

As you turned to wave goodbye.

Thanking all for what’s been done

And telling us that you’re okay,

As you ascend towards the sun.

You just left your earthly ties

Its gives us warmth and energy,

That encourages us to thrive.

as it did when you were here,
