A Perfect Friend Today I found a friend, who knew all that I felt. She knew my every weakness, & the problems I’d been dealt. She understood my wonders, & knew all I had dreamt She listened to how I felt, & knew what it all meant. She did not once interrupt, or tell me to go away. She understood everything, and promised she would stay. I reached out to this friend, to show her that I care. To pull her close & let her know, how much I need her there. I went to hold her hand, to pull her a little nearer & realized this perfect friend I’d found was in my mirror.
