What Will

I wonder what it will be like

at the Pearly Gates.

Will we rush to get straight in

or will we hesitate.

Will we stand before the throne

heads held up with pride?

Because we did the Lord’s work

and stayed close by his side.

Or will we hang our head in shame

for the sins we cast.

Will the Lord ask why we were

so defiant in the past?

I know that I am far from perfect

with many faults and flaws.

But I will always try to do my best

to follow all gods’ laws.
