My Sister - In Loving Memory Sister Poems

My Sister

(Sister Poems)

Your ear to ear smile brought joy to us all

As my sister you knew just what to say

When I felt worthless you helped me stand tall

Now you have gone, how I hated that day.

I feel my life has been torn apart

You taught me how to be strong, loving and wise

I know you live on, inside of my heart

Though everyday a part of me dies.

But when I think of you it helps me go on

So I thank you for all the love you have

I still can’t believe that you are now gone

When you left you were so little and brave.

Not only were you my sister and friend

But you always had a hand to lend.

My Father Buried My Sister Today

(Sister Poems - In Loving Memory Sister Poems)

My father buried my sister today

My soul burns red with pain

No longer will I touch her face

Or caress her skin again.

My father buried my sister today

God, what have I done wrong

To have her stolen from my arms

When my faith in you was strong.

My father buried my sister today

Thank God I have another

I couldn’t walk this path alone

Every breath is a struggle.

My father buried my sister today

That’s not where she should be

Searing, ripping, tearing ache

Emotions overcome me.

To God above, how I pray

These words by her not repeated

“My father buried my daughter today”

Sister - In Loving Memory Sister Poems

Sister

(Sister Poems - In Loving Memory Sister Poems)

Sister my dear sister I wish that I could see you everyday,

so you can tell me your not alone and heaven is okay,

I need something to help me carry on,

cause I cant except the fact that your gone,

trying to hide the tears,

because of my pride even though I’m dying inside,

deep in my soul a sorrow haunted by every tomorrow,

cause your not there waiting,

its not fair my heart is fading,

all I should of said will never be,

never got to say what you meant to me,

or to our whole family,

so sister my dear sister I’ll start living a better way,

so you can welcome me home someday.
