I see you my darlings, all the time
I know everything you do -
Would you believe, my dearest children
I’m even closer now to you!

I can see inside your minds
Indeed, inside your hearts -
I even know you better now
than I did before, sweethearts.

I’ve always loved you, you know that
But maybe now, I love you more -
I love the adults that you’ve become
just as I loved the child before.

I know how much you miss me
well, I surely miss you, too -
I miss our talking and our laughing
and all we used to do.

Whether you are six or sixty
you’ll always be my precious child -
You’re the babies that I carried
and the adults that helped me smile.

What you need to understand
though death has taken me away -
Is that I’ve not left you, my darlings
I am still with you today.

My family, I could never leave you
God, of course, would not want that -
Physically, we are apart
but our hearts are still attached.

I love you all the time
you cannot get away from me -
That’s the way a Mother is
right until eternity.

Every day I’m with you
I see you from above -
And I want for you to know
how very much you’re dearly loved.

Mom, I dreamed
of you last night ..
You stretched out your arms
and hugged me tight.

And just for a moment
there it seemed ..
That your touch was real
not just a dream.

I had talked to the lord
just hours before ..
And told Him “Lord
there is nothing more.

That could satisfy
or comfort me ..
Than for my mother’s
face to see”.

God heard my prayer
and through His grace ..
I looked down
upon your face.

I felt your hug

The very things

A place that no one
else can fill.

But precious memories
I have of you ..
And I have God
to lean on too.

So Mom, until
that glorious day ..
We walk hand in hand

God’s loving grace ..

and see your face.

How does one write on paper
feelings I have inside ..
The heartache and the emptiness
when the mom I loved, has died.

How do I carry on
and smile through tears I cry ..
The loneliness I feel for mom
why did she have to die.

How do I get through tomorrow
when today has left me tired ..
Why can’t I turn back the clock
and have the time desired.

I don’t know if I can do it
I just can’t seem to believe ..
my friend, my soul mate, my mother
why did she have to leave.

But I do hope your happy mom
wherever you may be ..
Free from the pain you felt so long
now smiling down on me.

Please guide me through my life mom
‘cause I’m scared here on my own ..
Think of me, as I do you
and we’ll never feel alone.

So I’ll say goodnight to you now
And blow kisses to the sky ..
Rest up with the angels, Mom
Just for now it is goodbye.
