A Mothers Crown Mother In Heaven Grief Poems

A Mother’s Crown
(Sympathy Funeral Poems Mother)

Heaven lit up with a mighty presence
as the Angels all looked down –
Today the Lord was placing the jewels
into my Mother’s crown.

He held up a golden crown
as my darling Mother looked on –
He said in His gentle voice
I will now explain each one.

The first gem, He said, is a Ruby
and it’s for endurance alone –
For all the nights you waited up
for your children to come home.

For all the nights by their bedside
you stayed till the fever went down –
For nursing every little wound
I add this ruby to your crown.

An emerald, I’ll place by the ruby
for leading your child in the right way –
For teaching them the lessons,
that made them who they are today.

For always being right there
through all life’s important events –
I give you a sapphire stone
for the time and love you spent.

For untying the strings that held them
when they grew up and left home –
I give you this one for courage.
then the Lord added a garnet stone.

I’ll place a stone of amethyst, He said
for all the times you spent on your knees –
When you asked if I’d take care of your children
and then for having faith in Me.

I have a pearl for every little sacrifice
that you made without them knowing-
For all the times you went without
to keep them happy, healthy and growing.

And last of all I have a diamond
the greatest one of all –
For sharing unconditional love
whether they were big or small.

It was your love that helped them grow
feeling safe and happy and proud –
A love so strong and pure
it could shift the darkest cloud.

After the Lord placed the last jewel in
he said, Your crown is now complete –
You’ve earned your place in Heaven
with your children at your feet.

Miss You Mum Goodnight By Dorothy Buxner

Miss You Mum Goodnight
(Mother Memorial Poems)

When I think about the old days
I want them back again –
Our house was always happy
and full of laughter then.

We’d all be there together
content in every way –
Then the mainstay of the family
simply went away.

All of us, do the best we can
but it will never be the same –
We can’t tell you how often
we all still speak your name.

All I wish is that once more
before I lower the light –
I could only kiss her on the cheek
and say ‘I love you Mum’ Goodnight.

Never Alone By Rodney Belcher Parent Loss Poem

Never Alone
(Parent Mom Dad Loss Poem)

I feel you in the morning
when I first awake . .
Your thought is always with me
with each decision that I make.

You’ve been around forever
since the first breath that I took . .
Now I have to go on alone
but for your love, I need not look.

For by what you have bestowed
in out short time together ..
Will live on in my heart
always and forever.

Although you’ve left
and now walk on above ..
I’m never alone
as I’m wrapped in your love.

Enjoy now, your long waited reward
feel peace that your love lives on ..
What was taught to me, will be taught to mine
’cause you live on in me, after you’ve gone.

A Tribute to Mother By Lyne Lepone Mom Grief Poems

A Tribute to Mother
(Mom Grief Poems)

You can only have one mother
Patient, kind and true –
No other friend in all the world
will be the same to you.

When other friends forsake you
to mother you will turn –
For all her loving kindness
she asks nothing in return.

As I look upon her picture
sweet memories I recall –
Of a face so full of sunshine
and a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus, take this message
to my dear mother up above –
Tell her how I miss her
and give her all my love.
