From your Angel in Heaven
I see tears fall down your face
When your thoughts have turned to me –
Just know that I’m in heaven
With my Lord, who’s set me free.
No pain or sadness do I feel
For God is by my side –
The beauty here in Heaven
Is now where I reside.
I know it’s hard for you to cope
For you can’t feel my touch –
But every moment, I can see
And love you very much.
When you are at your lowest
And feel you can’t go on –
Look towards the heavens
The light will be turned on.
Talk to me, just like you did
On Earth when I was there –
You see, I’m not so far away
Only as far as a prayer.
And when it’s time for you to join
me up in Heaven above –
It’s then that you will realize
The Golden Place of love.
For here there is no sadness
Just everlasting light –
Someday we will be joined again
When it’s time to take your flight.

Cry not for me.
I have no pain in leaving.
Do not visit my grave
for I no longer exist there.
I am in the air that you breathe.
I am in the sun that warms you.
I am in the rain that fills your springs.
I am in the heaven that you dream of.
We are forever you and I.
Find your way.
I shall always step with you.
Speak to me often.
I shall always hear you.
Give me your love.
I shall always feel you.
Know in your heart I will
be with you every day.

I’m Still Here
Please don’t
mourn for me –
I’m still here
though you don’t see.
I’m right by your side
each night and day –
And within your heart
I long to stay.
My body is gone
but I’m always near –
I’m everything you
feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free
but I’ll never depart –
As long as you keep me
alive in your heart.
I’ll never wander
out of your sight –
I’m the brightest star
on a warm summer night.
I’ll never be
beyond your reach –
I’m the warm moist sand
when you’re at the beach.
I’m the colorful leaves
when winter comes round –
And the pure white snow
that blankets the ground.
I’m the beautiful flowers
of which you’re so fond –
The clear cool water
in a quiet pond.
I’m the first bright blossom
you’ll see in the spring –
The first warm raindrop
that April will bring.
I’m the first ray of light
when the sun starts to shine –
And you’ll see that the face
in the moon is mine.
When you start thinking
there’s no one to love you
Talk to me and I will listen.
I’ll whisper my answer
through the leaves on the trees –
And you’ll feel my presence
in the soft summer breeze.
I’m the hot salty tears
that flow when you weep –
And the beautiful dreams
that come while you sleep.
I’m the smile you see
on a stranger’s face –
Just look for me
– I’m everyplace.

Now Gone
I don’t always find living my life so easy
With our time of being together now gone –
Although it is so hard with you not here
I do know, that my life must continue on.
I miss all of the things we always shared
and so many things we had not yet done –
Everything that was special with only you
which cannot be replaced; not by anyone.
I know I have to continue on with my life
until time comes for me to again join you –
If I were able to hear you speaking to me
I’m sure, you’d be saying these words too.
Although my sad heart still aches for you
and my life isn’t the same as it was before –
Life is far too precious not to be fully lived
and I’m blessed, to still have time for more.
Memories of you will forever be my strength
and they will live, with you inside of my heart –
I will remember everything you mean to me
instead of living the sadness of being apart.
So I will always carry your love in my heart
living my life the best way that I know how –
Remembering this is what you’d want of me
and I must therefore start to live again, now.

Your heart may be heavy and aching
now that I’m no longer here –
But, though you may shed many tears
let memories banish your fear.
My arms are no longer around you
my lips cannot speak of my love –
But, I’m with you in spirit each day
as I look down from Heaven above.
The house may be silent without me
it doesn’t mean I can’t be there –
And, every night that you sleep
our love, in your dreams, we still share.
As you continue, alone on earth
I’ll be with you each step of the way –
I can still be the strength that you need
to carry you through each new day.
Although, I know you can’t see me
our spirits are joined as before –
So, whenever you feel uplifted
know it’s me just loving you more.
In Heaven, we’re given a gift
to still tend to the ones left behind –
So, smile when you think of me

Garden Of Longing
I know where the garden of longing is
I’ve been there many a time –
To see your beautiful smiling face
and hold your hand in mine.
We walk the paths where flowers bloom
and watch the butterflies –
We share some childhood memories
of yesterday’s gone by.
Many tears I’ve cried since you went away
my life has changed so much –
Without you here to share with me
or feel your gentle touch.
I miss your smile, your laughter too
I miss those days gone by –
I often sit and wonder
about all the reasons why.
I guess your blooms were so beautiful
all covered with glistening mist –
That God sent the angels down that day
and checked you off his list.

Our Special Place In Heaven
There’s a special place in Heaven
that’s reserved for you and I –
A special little place in our
home up in the sky.
If God calls me to Heaven
and I reach it before you do –
I promise I’ll take care of it the
way you’d want me to.
I will keep it warm and tidy
the way you like a home to be –
And I’ll brighten it with Heaven’s
flowers, angels’ songs and poetry.

The Lord saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be –
So He put his arms around you
and whispered, Come with me.
With tearful eyes I watched you suffer
and saw you fade away –
Although I loved you dearly
I could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
your beautiful smile at rest –
God broke my heart to prove
he always takes the best.
It’s lonesome here without you
I miss you so each day –
My life just isn’t the same
ever since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely
and everything goes wrong –
I hear you gently whisper
cheer up and carry on.
Each time I see your picture
you seem to smile and say –
Don’t cry, I’m in God’s keeping
we’ll meet again someday.

Two hearts we were as one on Earth
two hearts that were entwined –
My love for you was ever strong
now you live inside my mind.
Your lovely life just slipped away
that life so full of zest! –
Your twinkling eyes got weary
your beating heart took rest.
I know you’ve gone to Heaven
from Earth you slipped away –
But faith in you my dearest Lord
keeps me strong each day.

now one beats all alone –
I know one day we’ll meet Dear Lord
the day you call me home.
