A father loves a daughter
Like no other love on earth ..
From the day that he first meets her
Nothing can compare her worth.

Forever are they bonded
With a love that never fails ..
For always he will hug her
And kiss goodnight with fairy tales.

He will love her and protect her
With strong arms just in case ..
But will also hug her tenderly
With a fatherly embrace.

Eskimo kisses touch her nose
With a giggle and a squeeze ..
And that sparkle in her little eyes
Could bring him to his knees.

What more could any father want
Than a daughter so sweet and pure ..
There’s nothing in this world so rare
Of that he can be sure.

A fathers love is so unique
It cannot be replaced ..
He will always treasure times with her
And the memories embraced.

When I imagine
the life you will live ..
I think of the pleasure
your presence will give.

I see the joy
your smile will light ..
and the wonders you’ll weave
when your dreams take flight.

I feel the hope
that will grow with your grace ..
and the difference you’ll make
to each heart you embrace.

I imagine your life
as I know it will be, for
my daughter, you’ve given
all this to me.

A daughter is love
in a bright pink bow ..
A bundle of happiness
all aglow.

A tomboy in jeans
with a tear streaked face ..
Crying because she
has just lost a race.

Then all of a sudden
no longer small ..
She’s a vision of loveliness
dressed for a ball.

A dreamer, a schemer
no two days the same ..
What is a daughter
It’s more than a name.

She’s a pleasure, a treasure
a comfort each day ..
Loving and sweet
in her own special way.

She’s a sense of contentment
felt deep inside ..
Bringing a lifetime
of pleasure and pride!
