Touch The Sky
Softly my head lays on your chest
Cuddled in warm togetherness,
Heartbeats slow in this timeless rest,
You cover me with your loving caress.
We laugh, we smile, lips touch and taste,
Arms smooth fears in a silken embrace,
Cocooned together as fingers trace,
the loving contour of your face.
Here the world does not exist,
There is only you and I,
Floating on our cloud of bliss,
We can almost touch the sky.
