How Do I Do
(Depression Poems – Mental Illness)
I know you’re there, I can feel you.
go away! Not today! I have things to do!
I”ll know in a second, which way you will turn
will I fly like a bird or crash and burn.
I can’t explain, and they don’t know,
Why I”m flying the room in status quo.
or ignoring advice that they can’t give
for want of a reasonable reason to live.
I don’t know where you came from,
nor did I see your arrival
How does one learn to live
when I struggle survival.
Ahh, it’s you, this habitual routine
to drag me to places I’ve already seen.
You’re always there watching and waiting for me
leave me alone please set me free.
