He Is Gone | Sympathy Memorial Male Poems

He Is Gone
(Sympathy Male Poems)

You can shed tears
that he is gone ..
Or you can smile
because he has lived.

You can close your eyes and
pray that he will come back ..
Or you can open your eyes
and see all that he has left.

Your heart can be empty
because you can’t see him ..
Or you can be full
of the love that you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow
and live yesterday ..
Or you can be happy for tomorrow
because of yesterday.

You can remember him
and only that he is gone ..
Or you can cherish his memory
and, let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind
be empty and turn your back ..
Or you can do what he would want
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Sympathy Poems | A Friend

A Friend
(Sympathy Funeral Poems)

There is nothing I can do, to bring him back.
There are no words I can say, that can
replace the words you long to hear.

There are no answer’s I can give
that will satisfy your questions.

There is not another soul I can introduce
you to that will ever replace his.

And, there is no love I can offer that
will ever replace the love you shared.

I can’t promise your broken heart
will ever be complete.

I will not say it could have been worse.
I will not deny it was a tragedy.
I will not lie and tell you he will come back ..
.. But I am here for you
if you should need a friend.
