Waiting at Heaven’s Door Loss Of Mom Grief Poems

Waiting at Heaven’s Door
(Loss Of Mom Grief Poems)

He beckoned her
with outstretched hand –
And whispered softly
of an unknown land.

But she was not
afraid to go –
For though the path
she did not know.

She took his hand
without a fear –
For God who safely
brought her here.

Had promised He
would lead the way –
Into eternity’s
bright day.

For none of us
need go alone –
Into the valley
that is unknown.

But, guided by
our Father’s hand –
We journey to
the promised land.

She was your special
loving Mother –
You shared your lives
with one another.

And you’ll find comfort
for your grief –
In knowing her
he brought sweet relief.

For now she’s free from all
suffering and pain –
And your great loss
became her gain.

You know that her love
is with you still –
For she loved you in life
and always will.

Love like hers
can never end –
Because it is
the perfect blend.

Of joy and sorrows
smiles and tears –
That just grew stronger
with the years.

Love like hers
can never die –
For she’s taken it
with her, to the sky.

So think of Mum
as living above –
No farther away
than your undying love.

For now she is happy
and free once more –
And she’s waiting for you
at Heaven’s door.

An Angel | Mother Sympathy Funeral Poems

An Angel
(Mother Sympathy Funeral Poems)

An angel lived among us
A gift from God above ..
She showered us with kindness
And shared with us her love.

She cherished every moment
With the man who was her life ..
Walking hand in hand together
Facing life with all its strife.

She loved her children dearly
Each one a different way ..
Nestled close within her heart
Though, now, she’s far away.

She’s gone to live with Jesus
But, she’s here with us, today ..
Smiling down on every one of us
And telling us she’s O.K.

Mother’s Hands | Mom Mother Grief Loss Poems

Mother’s Hands
(Mom Mother Grief Loss Poems)

Hands that rocked the cradle
From the moment of my birth ..
Their tender touch remembered
By those still here on Earth.

Soft as silk those hands
That taught me how to pray ..
Banishing childhood fears
They soothed each one away.

When I grew much older
And troubles came my way ..
Those hands caressing mine
Did more than words could say.

Mother’s hands were gentle
They’re missed so very much ..
I’d give the world to feel once more
Their warm and tender touch.

Those hands were full of comfort
Now they lie at rest ..
But memories hold them close
To the ones they served the best.

That Wonderful Mother of Mine | Mom Mother Grief Loss Poems

That Wonderful Mother of Mine
(Mom Mother Grief Loss Poems)

The moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
The birds never sing but a message they bring
Of that wonderful mother of mine.

Just to bring back the time
that was so sweet to me ..
Just to bring back the days
when I sat on her knee.

I pray every night to our Father above
For that wonderful mother of mine.
I ask Him to keep her as long as He can
That wonderful mother of mine.

There are treasures on earth
that made life seem worthwhile ..
But there’s none can compare
to my mother’s smile.

You are a wonderful mother
dear old Mother of mine ..
You’ll hold a spot down deep in my heart
‘Till the stars no longer shine.

Your soul shall live on forever
On through the fields of time ..
For there’ll never be another to me
Like that wonderful Mother of mine.
