Children Who Die Are Not Really Gone

Child Loss Poems Quotes

Children who die
are not really gone –
But go to a place
that is something like home.

Where they sleep the deep sleep
as quiet as stone –
Until we can join them
when our lives are done.

Children who die
are not really dead –
But just like good children
tucked into bed.

Wait the long wait
while we go ahead –
Till our tales are all told
and our tears are all shed.

Children who die
feel no pleasure or pain –
In the place where they wait
till they see us again.

And all of us dance
in a world washed with rain –
Where the sun shines so brightly
no sorrows remain.

Heaven’s Special Child

Heaven’s Special Child

(Poems About Children)

A meeting was held
quite far from earth –
It’s time again
for another birth.

Said the Angels
to the Lord above –
This special child
will need much love.

His progress may seem very slow
and he’ll require extra care –
Accomplishments he may not show
from the folks he meets, way down there.

He may not run
or laugh or play –
His thoughts may
seem quite far away.

In many ways
he won’t adapt –
And he’ll be known
as handicapped.

So let’s be careful
where he’s sent –
We want his life
to be content.

Please, Lord, find
the parents who –
Will do a special
job for you.

They will not realize
right away –
The leading role
they’re asked to play.

But with this child
sent from above –
Comes stronger faith
and richer love.

And soon they’ll know
the privilege given –
In caring for
this gift from Heaven.

Their precious charge
so meek and mild –
Is Heaven’s very
special child!

Special Angel In Heaven | Loss Of Baby Child Poems

Special Angel In Heaven
(Loss Of Baby Child Poems)

There’s a special Angel in Heaven
that is a part of me ..
It is not where I wanted her
but where God wanted her to be.

She was here but just a moment
like a night time shooting star ..
And though she is in Heaven
she isn’t very far.

She touched the hearts of many
like only Angels can ..
I would’ve held her every minute
If I’d only known God’s plan.

So I send this special message
to the Heavens up above.
Please take care of my Angel
and send her all my love.

Angel of Mine | Loss Of Baby Child Poems

Angel of Mine
(Loss Of Baby Child Poems)

Behold, my angel baby
so gentle as can be ..
I’d give the stars in Heaven
to have her here with me.

To hear her child-like laughter
and feel her sweet caress ..
For although she is in Heaven
I do not love her less.

I love her just as strongly
as when first blessed unto me ..
When I held and kissed her fondly
as she lay upon my knee.

Her time on Earth was short
it made me wonder why ..
Darkened my waking moments
and often made me cry.

I’ve learned to realize that God
always takes the best ..
He brought her to His garden
because she needed rest.

One day we’ll meet in Heaven
that’s how it’s meant to be ..
There I’ll rock her gently
as she rest upon my knee.

But for now my angel baby
I’ll have to be content ..
To adore you whilst in Heaven
in this my sweet lament.
